Green Planet is an indoor rainforest in the middle of Dubai, and shooting in it is a genuinely strange problem: humid, dim under the canopy, and full of animals moving at their own pace regardless of yours.
It was for a photography competition, so the brief was mine to set. I went after personality and movement rather than clean field-guide portraits — light, composition, and a great deal of standing very still waiting.
